For six weeks each summer, from mid-June through late July, students and guest artists convene in Hancock, Maine, to learn, study and perform for the local community. Two series, plus a family concert and community engagement events are enjoyed by Maine residents and summer visitors.
All of this is made possible and sustained by the generosity of those who support the organization each year—through gifts and in-kind donations of goods and services. All donor contributions support our mission to train conductors and orchestral musicians through an intensive summer program distinguished by a unique teaching legacy, a wide and varied repertoire, and public performances of symphonic, chamber and children’s concerts.
